Our Philosophy
At Harmony Hills, our goal in physical education is to provide quality instruction that benefits students' physical skills, understanding of movement concepts, and social-emotional well-being. We look to provide opportunities for ALL students to learn about the fundamental movement skills necessary to participate in a wide variety of physical activities for their lifetime. We teach to inspire students to move for at least 60 minutes a day and encourage them to live a healthy lifestyle. We promote a positive classroom environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and enjoy learning from each other. Students learn to respect each other's ideas and work together to solve problems.
*Students that have a written note from their gaurdian or doctor explaining any limitations on participation in physical education will engage in modified tasks to accomodate their needs*
